Daniel is an accomplished leader known for turning the unfeasible into reality. With over 26 years in the OEM and Tier 1 Automotive Industry, he has managed multiple complex projects requiring meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills. His motivation and collaborative approach consistently deliver desired results.
Daniel anticipates customer needs, plans, and executes accordingly. Throughout his career, he has been called upon to lead teams through extraordinary challenges. At General Motors, Daniel progressed from a Coordinator role to Management through strategic and tactical execution of supply chain challenges. He successfully managed difficult business transfers from troubled suppliers, supervised Tier 1 launches for the XTS and ATX platforms with a focus on interior systems and led GM Exteriors teams in launching the K2XX and Y1XX platforms. His success led to his leadership of the 50-person Tactical Supply Operations team.
In his role in Value Chain Engineering, Daniel supported GM’s purchasing organization, instrumental in the localization and launch of ventilator manufacturing in the US, and crisis mitigation and supply chain mapping for raw materials. Prior to GM, Daniel spent 13 years at TRW, Autoliv, BOS, and TK Holdings. He began in quality, moved into program management, and launched programs for GM, Toyota, and Honda, gaining technical expertise in vehicle safety systems.
