We are pleased to introduce Dr. Dohyun Baek. With a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Dong-Eui University, he is a leader in electrical engineering and technological innovation. Dr. Baek, was the Principal Engineer overseeing the Automotive Battery Division and the Photovoltaic Development Team at Samsung SDI and the Senior Engineering at Intel Corporation. He has spearheaded advancements in semiconductor devices, solar power, and automotive battery technologies.
His expertise spans grid and automotive battery technologies, power management systems, and semiconductor device characterization. Dr. Baek’s work includes designing, validating, and testing Lithium-ion Battery Pack Systems and leading empirical modeling of battery life cycles. His most recent efforts involve supporting Clients in characterizing and solving technical problems with manufacturing of Electrical Devices and Battery Systems as well as providing transformative insights and strategies to Clients in EV, solar power, and silicon chip industries.
Dr. Baek has excelled in leadership and academia, guiding cross-functional teams on key projects, and educating future engineers at Sung Kyun Kwan University. His involvement in setting IEC/ISO standards for Li-Ion battery systems highlights his role in shaping industry practices.
