Roger has a proven track record of conceiving, designing, engineering, and launching transportation products with unparalleled quality. He has built new teams, facilities, and start-ups, and is a trusted advisor to top-tier consulting firms, enabling Asia Pacific industrialization, quality deployment, and product development. Roger advises OEM clients on vehicle development, vehicle systems engineering, and has deep expertise in electric vehicles and propulsion systems integration.
As a member of the founding team of the automotive start-up Qoros, Roger has written, led, and guided development roadmaps and go-to-market strategies for EV & ICE vehicles and propulsion systems. At Qoros, he led engineering and program management, achieving the highest EuroNCAP safety rating and the highest Autohome vehicle quality rating in China for several years running. Roger achieved six on-time launches in a three-year period in a brand-new facility.
Roger began his career as a Journeyman Toolmaker & Patternmaker, served as a Sergeant in the USAF, and took on engineering roles with ASC and Toyota in Japan, where he was certified in the Toyota Production System. He became a VP for Lear, managing the Asian region, establishing engineering centers in the Philippines, India, Korea, and China, and overseeing various operational and plant management roles. Roger has also managed seven mergers and acquisitions throughout Asia and Europe during his career.
